Scope of the meeting: JT-60SA is a tokamak presently being constructed in Naka (Japan) jointly by Japan and European partners through the Broader Approach agreement. An activity has recently started in Europe, in the framework of the European Fusion Development Agreement, to contribute to the Research Objectives and Strategy of this machine, that is planned to start operation in 2016. This meeting intends to provide information on this activity and involve a wider community of physicists in the discussion of the JT-60SA Research Plan.

EFTSOMP 2012, Workshop on Electric Fields, Turbulence and Self-Organisation in Magnetized Plasmas
9th-10th July, 2012, Stockholm
The EFTSOMP workshop is held annually as a satellite meeting of the EPS Plasma Physics Conference providing a platform for in-depth discussion of topics related to the physics of radial electric fields and turbulent transport of magnetized plasmas. The scope includes experimental and theoretical investigations of the flow turbulent systems as well as the development of novel diagnostics and simulation codes. The aim is to stimulate better interaction between experiment and theory as well as small laboratory experiments and large fusion devices.
